Membership Packages

Bronze

  • Fire Investigation Task Force personnel are available to assist your department in fire-related investigations for $125/hour per Investigator.
  • Monthly trainings will be available for Investigators for $25/class per Investigator attending.
  • Invited to attend all special workshops at $100/workshop (minimum).

Requirements: None*

Silver

  • Fire Investigation Task Force personnel are available to assist your department in fire-related investigations for 10 man hours per year.  Each additional hour of investigation will be charged at the discounted rate of $75/hour.
  • A total of two (2) monthly trainings per year for members of your department.  NO ADDITIONAL FEE.
  • Testing towards the attainment/maintenance of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Certified Fire Investigators status at a discounted rate (15%).
  • Invited to attend all special workshops at a discounted rate (15%).

Requirements: Payment of fee, no commitment of personnel*

Gold

  • Fire Investigation Task Force personnel are available to assist your department in fire-related investigations for an unlimited period of time.
  • Task Force personnel will arrive within one hour of notification.
  • Fire Investigation Task Force personnel are available 24-hours per day, seven days a week, including holidays.
  • Records of all call outs and results.

FREE FOR GOLD MEMBERS:

  • Five (5) trainings per year for Investigators; Three (3) classroom trainings & two (2) practical exercises.
  • Testing towards the attainment/maintenance of the International Association of Arson Investigators, Certified Fire Investigator status.
  • Invited to attend all special workshops.
  • All assigned personnel to the Task Force are provided with team response apparel.

Requirements: Payment of fee and commitment of personnel*

  *ATF will provide service free of charge to all agencies in Kane County regardless of membership.

Membership Application Process

You must provide a Letter of Intent for yourself as well as a Letter of Support from your Chief.

These letters and the following forms must be completed and forwarded to an Executive Committee member before the next Executive Committee meeting date. The Executive Committee usually meets the 2nd Thursday of alternating months.
